The Secret of Jules Verne
He was the pioneer of science-fiction genre, one of the most translated author of all time and certainly a source of inspiration for all of us. Verne did accurate anticipations of modern times and wrote about submarines and space travel before they were invented.

When I read the list it immediately remind me the tv show LOST. I did a quick search and found this link that talks about similarities between “Lost” and the Jules Verne novel “The Mysterious Island”, quite funny.
