I want to share with you a little experiment about Rafa Nadal, created with a kind of generative geometry function I’m working on… super abstract but fun.

Nice job Juan! Reminds me of some of the work by tsevis. See http://www.flickr.com/photos/tsevis/3656370830/ for example.
Also, check out the http://www.percolatorapp.com which does something similar.
Hi Jeff,
Thank you!.
Humm, I didn’t know percolatorapp… but look at one of my test files… https://juanosborne.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/JO-D-110518-RafaNadal_sample.jpg I think I can mimic it just by doubling the circles… I will add this option to my tools.
I recently discover tsevis, a reader point me to one of his incredible works… I think he does his illustrations “by hand” (not so sure!), so it’s looks impossible to get to that level of art… I will try my own way using processing 🙂
But I’m still working on it. I need a smarter spread options so I can recreate the details of the face, etc… new samples soon I hope 🙂
All the best.
